Glycol drip tray with pressure, glycol and water sensors
The German Federal Water Act (WHG) stipulates that all facilities handling substances hazardous to water must be constructed and operated in such a way that any detrimental change to the characteristics of the water can be ruled out and the occurrence of damage is unlikely according to human judgment. According to Section 3 of the VAwS (Ordinance on Installations for Handling Substances Hazardous to Water), “leaking substances hazardous to water must be quickly and reliably detected, retained and […] properly disposed of.” The implementation of these legal requirements is the responsibility of the system operator. Glycol drip tray and premium glycol protector: AuRü W
The AuRü W is our premium product for glycol retention and has been developed with the future in mind. This glycol protector complies with both current and future legislation for the coming years. Compared to the basic AuRü GP version, the AuRü W has glycol and water sensors in addition to pressure sensors and is therefore ideally equipped. The glycol sensor detects even the smallest amounts of glycol in the medium in the event of drip and splash water losses. The optional water sensor ensures that the systems are switched to standby to save energy when there is no medium in the retention system.
